Growing Your Writing Muscles in Second Half of 2025

This is not a repeat of the February workshop. This time we will build on the basics and encourage one another to persevere and branch out our writing in the second half of 2025. We will be “looking backwards and forwards,” featuring insights from College Church writers and selections from a message for writers from Joe Bayly circa 1975. You’ll be surprised by the differences and similarities as we listen to highlights from this 50-year-old message from an influential College Church writer/editor/publisher.

 Tuesday, July 22 from 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM

Join the adventure as the Crew casts off and we say goodbye to summer. Kids will learn not to worry because God keeps His promises.  Then, enjoy one last hurrah with the Crew, a large inflatable and a dunk tank. Kids will not be getting wet.

July 22 at either 9:30-11:30 a.m. or 1-3 p.m. (Both times will be the same.)

$5/child

Children must be entering 1st-5th grade in the fall. 

We hope you’ll join us as we spend the summer in fellowship together and learn new things, whether that is a new game, like Bunco, or a new skill, like breadmaking. Registration requested so we can plan accordingly.

We had so much fun playing Bunco earlier this summer, we decided to do it again! Pairs rotate as the night goes on so while we do encourage you to bring a friend, there is no need to come with a partner.

Church-Planting Among the Urban Poor: A conversation with Matt Anthony of New England Urban Church Planting

Pottery Workshop

Cost: $75
Space is limited. Registration Required.

Work under the guidance of our own potter Lin Fallon to create your own pottery. All pieces will be fired at the studio and available for pick up at a later date.

We use this information to update our records, place your child in the correct classroom, ensure we have the proper people in place to contact in case of an emergency, and to make sure we know how to best protect your child and their health when in our care, in accordance with our Protection Policy.   

Beginning Wednesday, September 10, the Men's Bible Study will dive into the book of James. We combine table discussion and expository teaching to deepen our understanding of Scripture and our relationship with God. Join us for our weekly studies from 6:45 pm to 8:15 pm in the Commons (West side). Registration is required and space is limited. Placement is a first come first served basis.

The Word Conference exists to equip you to influence your world by the Word. The 2025 Theme: Love in Truth will feature sermons from 1 and 2 John. Location: College Church in Wheaton, Illinois.
